Automatically download Airbyte invoices

On the roadmap

Collect Airbyte Cloud invoices by workspace, billing account, plan, usage period, connector volume, currency, tax, and credit.

Keep Airbyte Cloud billing separate from self-hosted setups. This guide covers Airbyte Cloud billing only, not licenses or support for a self-hosted deployment. Preserve workspace and plan detail so managed cloud usage is not mixed with self-hosted infrastructure costs.

Automatic download of Airbyte invoices

The planned flow joins portal documents with mailbox attachments in one review list. Until this provider connection is released, use the following checklist as the reliable manual path.

How it works

  1. Set the account and period. Identify the Cloud workspace and billing account before collecting invoices, and exclude self-hosted license paperwork.
  2. Check the original documents. Compare plan, usage period, connector or row volume, currency, tax, and total with the Cloud subscription.
  3. Prepare the handoff. Keep credits and plan changes linked to the Cloud billing period they modify, not to a self-hosted cluster.

Frequently asked questions

How does BillGetter protect my Airbyte data?

BillGetter is being developed as a local and a cloud version. The permissions and data path of the Airbyte connection will be shown before you connect an account; the integration is currently on the roadmap.

Can I collect older Airbyte documents?

The available history depends on the later Airbyte connection and the documents retained in the account. BillGetter will document that scope before the integration is released.

Does BillGetter also collect invoices from email?

Mailbox collection is part of the planned BillGetter workflow. Email attachments and portal documents are intended to appear in the same review list, with the exact early-access scope confirmed before release.

Which Airbyte documents belong in the monthly set?

For Airbyte, start with: Cloud subscription invoice, Workspace or usage charge, Credit or plan adjustment. Keep corrections and credits with the same period so the set remains complete and understandable.

Are Airbyte documents always saved as PDFs?

BillGetter is intended to retain the original format supplied by Airbyte; not every document type is necessarily a PDF. Before export, use this rule: Pass the original Cloud invoice with workspace allocation and keep any self-hosted costs in a separate cost record.
