Collect BITel invoices by customer account, contract or prepaid product, service period, location, device charge, credit, and tax status.
Separate BITel contract invoices from prepaid receipts. BITel can bill private and business contracts as well as prepaid products under related customer numbers in the Bielefeld region. A payment or top-up receipt is not always a tax invoice, so keep contract invoices distinct from prepaid confirmations.
Automatic download of BITel invoices
The planned flow joins portal documents with mailbox attachments in one review list. Until this provider connection is released, use the following checklist as the reliable manual path.
How it works
- Set the account and period. Separate private and business accounts, then decide whether the product is a contract or prepaid service.
- Check the original documents. Match customer number, contract or prepaid product, service period, and total to the connection actually used.
- Prepare the handoff. Do not treat a payment or top-up receipt as a tax invoice unless the document itself is issued as one.

Frequently asked questions
How does BillGetter protect my BITel data?
BillGetter is being developed as a local and a cloud version. The permissions and data path of the BITel connection will be shown before you connect an account; the integration is currently on the roadmap.
Can I collect older BITel documents?
The available history depends on the later BITel connection and the documents retained in the account. BillGetter will document that scope before the integration is released.
Does BillGetter also collect invoices from email?
Mailbox collection is part of the planned BillGetter workflow. Email attachments and portal documents are intended to appear in the same review list, with the exact early-access scope confirmed before release.
Which BITel documents belong in the monthly set?
For BITel, start with: Contract service invoice, Prepaid top-up receipt, Credit or corrected invoice. Keep corrections and credits with the same period so the set remains complete and understandable.
Are BITel documents always saved as PDFs?
BillGetter is intended to retain the original format supplied by BITel; not every document type is necessarily a PDF. Before export, use this rule: Add contract or prepaid context to the internal filename and keep the original BITel document unchanged for tax review.
