Automatically download IONOS invoices

On the roadmap

Collect IONOS invoices by customer number, contract, hosting, domain, cloud product, billing period, currency, tax, and credits.

Map IONOS invoices to customer number and contract. IONOS hosting, domains, and cloud products can share a customer number while sitting on different contracts. Keep customer number and contract reference with every invoice so infrastructure, mailbox, and domain costs remain allocatable beyond the monthly total.

Automatic download of IONOS invoices

The planned flow joins portal documents with mailbox attachments in one review list. Until this provider connection is released, use the following checklist as the reliable manual path.

How it works

  1. Set the account and period. Record the IONOS customer number and contract before collecting invoices that mix hosting, domains, and cloud.
  2. Check the original documents. Compare product, contract, billing period, currency, tax, and credits with the services still active on that customer number.
  3. Prepare the handoff. Keep credits, cancellations, and one-off setup charges tied to the contract period they change.

Frequently asked questions

How does BillGetter protect my IONOS data?

BillGetter is being developed as a local and a cloud version. The permissions and data path of the IONOS connection will be shown before you connect an account; the integration is currently on the roadmap.

Can I collect older IONOS documents?

The available history depends on the later IONOS connection and the documents retained in the account. BillGetter will document that scope before the integration is released.

Does BillGetter also collect invoices from email?

Mailbox collection is part of the planned BillGetter workflow. Email attachments and portal documents are intended to appear in the same review list, with the exact early-access scope confirmed before release.

Which IONOS documents belong in the monthly set?

For IONOS, start with: Hosting or cloud invoice, Domain registration or renewal invoice, Credit or contract correction. Keep corrections and credits with the same period so the set remains complete and understandable.

Are IONOS documents always saved as PDFs?

BillGetter is intended to retain the original format supplied by IONOS; not every document type is necessarily a PDF. Before export, use this rule: Pass the original IONOS invoice with customer number and contract as internal context so shared hosting costs stay traceable.
