Automatically download Trello invoices

On the roadmap

Collect Trello billing documents by workspace, plan, billed seats, service period, payer, and any reseller or app-store relationship.

Keep Trello billing with the correct workspace and payer. The workspace using Trello is not always the party issuing the document. First identify whether the plan is billed directly or through another purchasing channel, then keep workspace and payer context with the invoice.

Automatic download of Trello invoices

The planned flow joins portal documents with mailbox attachments in one review list. Until this provider connection is released, use the following checklist as the reliable manual path.

How it works

  1. Set the account and period. Identify the paid workspace and the account responsible for billing before collecting documents for several teams.
  2. Check the original documents. Compare plan, seat count, service period, and billed entity with the workspace's actual business use.
  3. Prepare the handoff. If another channel issued the charge, file that issuer's original document rather than relabeling it as a Trello invoice.

Frequently asked questions

How does BillGetter protect my Trello data?

BillGetter is being developed as a local and a cloud version. The permissions and data path of the Trello connection will be shown before you connect an account; the integration is currently on the roadmap.

Can I collect older Trello documents?

The available history depends on the later Trello connection and the documents retained in the account. BillGetter will document that scope before the integration is released.

Does BillGetter also collect invoices from email?

Mailbox collection is part of the planned BillGetter workflow. Email attachments and portal documents are intended to appear in the same review list, with the exact early-access scope confirmed before release.

Which Trello documents belong in the monthly set?

For Trello, start with: Workspace subscription invoice, Seat or plan adjustment, Reseller or app-store document. Keep corrections and credits with the same period so the set remains complete and understandable.

Are Trello documents always saved as PDFs?

BillGetter is intended to retain the original format supplied by Trello; not every document type is necessarily a PDF. Before export, use this rule: Add the workspace name as internal context, but preserve the legal issuer and original document number exactly as shown.
