Automatically download Slack invoices

On the roadmap

Collect Slack invoices by workspace or Enterprise Grid organization, paid seats, guests, plan, billing period, currency, tax, and credits.

Match Slack bills to workspaces, paid seats, and Enterprise Grid. Slack bills paid seats on a workspace or Enterprise Grid organization; guests are not the same as paid members. Keep the billed workspace or Grid org, seat type, and plan together, and do not treat a guest-heavy workspace as if every listed user were a billable seat.

Automatic download of Slack invoices

The planned flow joins portal documents with mailbox attachments in one review list. Until this provider connection is released, use the following checklist as the reliable manual path.

How it works

  1. Set the account and period. Identify whether the invoice belongs to a single workspace or an Enterprise Grid organization before collecting documents.
  2. Check the original documents. Reconcile paid seats separately from guests, then match plan, billing period, currency, and tax with the workspace bill.
  3. Prepare the handoff. Keep seat reductions, upgrades, and credits linked to the period they change instead of rewriting the original Slack invoice.

Frequently asked questions

How does BillGetter protect my Slack data?

BillGetter is being developed as a local and a cloud version. The permissions and data path of the Slack connection will be shown before you connect an account; the integration is currently on the roadmap.

Can I collect older Slack documents?

The available history depends on the later Slack connection and the documents retained in the account. BillGetter will document that scope before the integration is released.

Does BillGetter also collect invoices from email?

Mailbox collection is part of the planned BillGetter workflow. Email attachments and portal documents are intended to appear in the same review list, with the exact early-access scope confirmed before release.

Which Slack documents belong in the monthly set?

For Slack, start with: Workspace or Grid invoice, Paid-seat or plan adjustment, Credit or billing correction. Keep corrections and credits with the same period so the set remains complete and understandable.

Are Slack documents always saved as PDFs?

BillGetter is intended to retain the original format supplied by Slack; not every document type is necessarily a PDF. Before export, use this rule: Keep workspace or Grid identifiers with the original invoice and pass paid-seat versus guest allocation as internal context.
