Organize Tesla vehicle, service, shop, charging, and connectivity documents without mixing different purchases or billing periods.
Keep Tesla vehicle and service documents clearly separated. Tesla can appear in the books for several unrelated reasons. Use this page for vehicle, service, and shop documents; Premium Connectivity and Supercharger sessions have their own focused guides and should remain separate.
Automatic download of Tesla invoices
The planned flow joins portal documents with mailbox attachments in one review list. Until this provider connection is released, use the following checklist as the reliable manual path.
How it works
- Set the account and period. Separate the vehicle purchase, later service work, and shop orders before checking document numbers and dates.
- Check the original documents. Assign every document to the correct vehicle or order and retain the corresponding payment record only as supporting context.
- Prepare the handoff. Route charging and Premium Connectivity documents to their dedicated monthly series instead of merging them into one Tesla file.

Frequently asked questions
How does BillGetter protect my Tesla data?
BillGetter is being developed as a local and a cloud version. The permissions and data path of the Tesla connection will be shown before you connect an account; the integration is currently on the roadmap.
Can I collect older Tesla documents?
The available history depends on the later Tesla connection and the documents retained in the account. BillGetter will document that scope before the integration is released.
Does BillGetter also collect invoices from email?
Mailbox collection is part of the planned BillGetter workflow. Email attachments and portal documents are intended to appear in the same review list, with the exact early-access scope confirmed before release.
Which Tesla documents belong in the monthly set?
For Tesla, start with: Vehicle purchase document, Service or repair invoice, Tesla Shop order document. Keep corrections and credits with the same period so the set remains complete and understandable.
Are Tesla documents always saved as PDFs?
BillGetter is intended to retain the original format supplied by Tesla; not every document type is necessarily a PDF. Before export, use this rule: Use the vehicle or order reference in the filename when it helps identification, but preserve the issuer's original invoice number for accounting.
